7-Year Old Haitian-American Author Isabella Menard Writes Her First Book

Written by kreyolicious with 3 Comments

Welcome to a special edition of Haitian American Book club, brought to you by your favorite chick Kreyolicious. Isabella Menard is like most seven-year-olds. Originally from the Orlando area, the Haitian-American recently traveled to Miami for a special trip—a very special trip, one might add. The second grader came to the North Miami Library to sign The Monkey Room, her first book.

I wish to congratulate her on the publication of her work. This ought to be one of many she’ll be writing…Being a second-grader must be challenging, but in between homework, her chores at home, and spending time with her friends, Isabella Menard made her dream of being an author come true. May aspiring authors take note and learn from her dedication and persistence.

  1. One small advice: you know how our country is multi-cultural, you could translate this book in many different languages, and everyone may feel like they concerned to buy the book!!! just a suggestion!
