How to Recognize, Treat, and Perhaps—Just Perhaps—Cure Carimi Fever

Feeling a little unwell? Could you have CaRiMi fever? Let’s see..

If you have experienced any of the following recently, you may have the full-blown virus:

You spotted a lizard in your driveway, and you wonder why it runs, and doesn’t start doing the zandolit steps.

For you there are two kinds of men in the world, the Player and the Chòv.

You had your room redecorated to match the green eyes of a certain member.

Your phone goes off during an anatomy and physiology lecture. “Fanm Move”-–li move-oh is your ring tone. And an extended ringtone at that. The whole class stares at you, waiting for you to turn that darn thing off so everyone can go back to hearing that fascinating lecture about osmosis, but you sit there bobbing your head, waiting for the song to finish.

You’re a new mom, and you tell your new husband: “Baby do you think we can role play? I want you to sing that song to me “Pitit Sa Pa Pou Mwen” and I’ll pretend it’s really Mickael’s baby and not yours.” He nods with understanding and sheepishly complies to your wishes. He doesn’t want to awaken nor provoke any post-partum depression in you.

Every time you see the words “carry me” anywhere, you think it’s a typo.

When you type in CaRiMi in Microsoft word, and that red line shows to indicate a questionable spelling, you call Microsoft for technical support and declare that their spellcheck is malfunctioning.

You hear CaRiMi is going to be in town soon, and you call Capital One Bank Mastercard to increase your credit line so you can afford that Enterprise-Rent-a-Car Escalade. I mean, you’re going to CaRiMi after all. You have to go in style. You already have your dress. Actually three dresses are on reserve in your closet, and one on layaway. You have to be prepared for everything.

In anticipation of marrying one of the Holy Three, you have had three different set of towels monogrammed with V, G, C, as you tell yourself, it it’s not this one, it’ll be that one, and if not that one, then this one

There are two documents you treasure the most: your social security card because it allows you to work and your Citizenship Certificate to CaRiMi Nation.

Special Note: As of this writing, the cure for CaRiMi Fever has not been found, though there are scientists hard at work in an exclusive lab to find one. However, a tablet was developed, and some sufferers were given the tablet. While some responded favorably to it, after two intakes, the tablet no longer had any power on victims of CaRiMi Fever. Medical experts are now hard at work on a vaccine. Only time will tell whether this vaccine, will prove to have any effect on this epidemic.

We will keep you posted on any new developments regarding this matter. Thank you.

If Carlo was a nice boy none of yall would like him. Ladies admit that you find his nastiness and his stank attitude very sexy.

I know this is supposed to be a joke but for real there’s some girls out there who will spend their last dime just to look good at a damn bal.

Kreyolicious thanks for giving props to the best konpa band on the block. Often imitated but can’t be duplicated.

I’ve always maintained that the finest looking guy in Carimi was Michael. People don’t notice this b/c he’s chubby. But when he does lose some weight the truth will shine!
